Cardiac Telehealth Monitoring Service (ECG interpretation service) - the service supports people who require a hospital admission due to heart failure, awaiting cardiac surgery or COVID-19. A Telehealth virtual ward will monitor the patient at home and provide treatment to prevent hospital admission. Remote monitoring for patients who have recently had a heart attack to reduce A&E attendance and prevents readmissions to hospital.
The contract expenditure for 2023/24 was £30,000.
This notice is for a Direct Award C PSR process to commence from the 22nd of October 2024 to 30/09/2025 bringing the lifetime value of the contract to the value of c. £30,000. Under the test for considerable change this is within the permitted criteria (not exceeding £500,000 and 25%).

The ICB is intending to award a contract to an existing provider following direct award process C, where the existing provider is satisfying the existing contract and will likely satisfy the proposed new contract, and the contract is not changing considerably.
The contract will support 8 membership practices in the Seisdon locality and the approximate lifetime value of the contract is £30,000.
The dates between which the services are intended to be provided are: 22/10/2024 to 30/09/2025.

The term of an existing contract (including Modification) is due to expire and the ICB is proposing a new contract to replace this at the end of its term. The contracting arrangements are not changing considerably from the existing contract. The key criteria and basic selection criteria has been applied. The ICB Quality & Finance teams undertook diligence and details checks recorded on the DMR Tracker held by the ICB.
