The installation and maintenance of Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS) is a systematic approach to ensure that the final systems fulfil the objective of delivering medical gas with the correct identity, pressure and quality, adequately and continuously at the desired locations.

Fulfilling this objective will enhance the clinical service provision and assist in the goals of patient care and recovery. More importantly it should be noted that these services are life support systems and that failure to observe the correct procedures and checks could have fatal results.
