Cardiff & Vale UHB’s Urology directorate requires a mobile lithotripsy service to be provided at the University Hospital of Wales site.
The service requires the supplier to provide suitable Mobile Lithotripter to site (University Hospital of Wales), carry out the treatment with a trained Mobile Lithotripter, including all the necessary accessories and consumables.
The equipment is taken away the same day, it does not remain on-site at the responsibility of the Health Board. The supplier must provide this service every Thursday, and on average, treats 10 patients per week.

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board will allow a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period between notifying the award decision and awarding the contract.
