The Authority intends to award a contract to an existing provider following Direct Award Process C under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR).
High level outcomes which the service is expected to make a direct contribution to:

• Reducing the proportion of people with low self-reported wellbeing
• Reducing the level of health inequalities in the borough

As the incumbent and an established local charity, the Provider has a track record of providing Social Prescribing support. The majority of those who engaged with the existing service found it helpful. The Service works closely with local partners to ensure service delivery for the people of Oldham. The Service contributes to improving community cohesion and the wider health and wellbeing of the population.
