Blackpool Council is looking to appoint a single supplier to carry out testing of electrical equipment – portable and fixed appliances.
Blackpool Council wish to appoint a Contractor who can clearly demonstrate the ability to meet our requirements and who offers the most economically advantageous bid.
The supplier will also be expected to provide a service to a small number of properties managed by Blackpool Coastal Housing.
Please note that the qualifications deemed satisfactory for engineers employed on this contract will be qualified electricians who hold C&G 18th Edition and also hold City and Guilds 2377-22 or equivalent.
It is anticipated that the contract term will be from 6th April 2022 to 31st March 2024, with the option to extend for a further 1 year plus a further 1 year (subject to contract review and budget availability).
