two.1.4) Short description

Radius Housing wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced firm to supply and operate security services at Radius Housing sites within Northern Ireland

This requires the provision of services at across Northern Ireland, ranging from sheltered accommodation, general needs accommodation, housing with care and commercial / office sites.

Services shall be provided in accordance with the minimum standards of current relevant legislation, guidance and good practice, and will include:

• Manned Security Service (Ad-hoc and reoccurring)

• Routine Mobile Patrols (Ad-hoc and reoccurring) including tenant call outs inc response to incidents as required.

• Routine Key Holding Services (Opening, Securing of sites)

• Emergency Key Holding (including Fire and Intruder Alarm Response) to include emergency call out service

• Accompanying staff to properties where a safety risk has been identified

• Personal service of legal documentation on behalf of Association

• Opening and Closure of Lisburn Rd Office including associated building security checks– 6.30am opening – 8pm closing

• Void Property Check as agreed with the Radius Asset Team, on a two (2) weekly basis (inspection service of property doors, windows, roof and area inside letterbox)

Full, suitable and sufficient Risk Assessments and Procedural Instructions will be required on award of this contract.

Exact operational requirements will be agreed with each user department at contract mobilisation.

For the avoidance of doubt the Association make no guarantee as to the quantity, value or frequency of the planned or response element of the Security Service requirements and reserve the right to use alternative methods of delivery.

Radius reserve the right to increase or decrease the frequency of services at some or all of the sites throughout the life of this contract. Changes in this requirement will be communicated to the Contractor by the Asset Manager in writing
