Orbit is looking to procure an additional product to support the storage and use of additional asset information required both as a result of legislative changes and to drive operational efficiencies and service improvements.
The product must be able to integrate seamlessly with D365. In the interim the product must interface with the existing asset management product, ActiveH.
The contract will be awarded to a single supplier for an initial period of 3 years, with the option for two 1-year extensions as required.

The product must cater for the requirements of both Orbit Homes, for projects, and Orbit Group, for assets in management. This includes the following key areas:
Storing asset information
• Holding structured asset data at a greater level of granularity
• Holding models, drawings and other documentation relating to assets
• Conformance with BIM standards as laid out in ISO 19650
• Holding data from remote monitoring devices
• Ensuring core asset data is kept in alignment with ActiveH.
Collaboration
• Acting as a CDE for all parties with vested interest to be able to store, submit, review, and utilise data and files as appropriate to their role.
Using asset information to improve business processes
• Drawing on data and files as required to complete operational activities
• Updating data and files as a result of operational activities
• Capturing information through forms
• Use of tasking to deliver work to the relevant parties as a result of changes in data.
Reporting
• Providing standard reports to provide insight into the asset information held
• Providing tools to develop bespoke analytics
• Providing defined data into Orbit’s data lake.
