THIS IS A NOTICE ON BEHALF OF HAMPSHIRE AND ISLE OF WIGHT FIRE RESCUE SERVICE (HIWFRS)
HIWFRS are seeking to engage with the market to determine if there is currently a Fleet Vehicle & Asset Management System that is suitable to meet the needs of its Fleet Maintenance Centre (FMC).
The contract is expected to be in the region of 5 years and with a projected value of circa. £300,000, however; subject to market feedback, this may change.

HIWFRS requires a solution provider to work closely with their project team to provide the overall design, to build, test and implement a new Fleet Vehicle & Asset Management System as well as providing an on-going support service over the whole of the contract lifetime.
HIWFRS will hold some preliminary engagement sessions and the purpose of these is to assist the project team in:
a) gaining a deeper understanding of the current market landscape, including trends, innovations, and supplier capabilities. For HIWFRS can refine our requirements and procurement approach.
b) identifying potential risks related to procurement, such as supply chain issues, technological feasibility, or cost uncertainties, for them to be addressed before the formal tender process begins
c) understanding the suppliers project approach, methodology, resource requirements and tools for delivering the new system.
d) identifying suppliers that can provide a system that meets the needs of the FMC department.
