NIE Networks wishes to appoint an Economic Operator to enter into a framework agreement for the provision of Mobile Telecoms Services to include;
The provision of Mobile Telecoms Services will include, but not be limited to;
• The provision of mobile ‘airtime’ services (calls, texts, and data)
• The provision of mobile Equipment (mobile phones, tablets and data dongles) and accessories (cases, screen protectors, chargers & charging cables).
Economic Operators will be required to provide solutions capable of supporting NIE’s mobile services requirements for mobile business calls, mobile business data and the purchase of equipment and accessories. Roaming services will also be required with particular importance to Roaming provision & rates within the Republic of Ireland.

Description of options
The Contracting Entity intends to establish a Framework Arrangement under which it shall appoint an Economic Operator to enter into a Framework Agreement for the provision of Mobile Telecoms Services. The Framework Agreement will be for a period of five (5) years with an option, exercisable entirely at the discretion of the Contracting Entity and subject to the terms of the Framework Agreement, to extend by a further optional period of up to three (3) years, with a total potential duration of eight (8) years.
