The PCC and Chief Constable for Merseyside Police is requesting tenders from Suppliers who can adhere to our in-force laundry requirements in the Merseyside region. The PCC and Chief Constable is looking for a supplier that will meet its diverse laundry requirements which over the past few years has seen an increase in demand required due to numerous factors relating to new Forensic labs within force and arrest rates increasing. Suppliers must be available to deliver across multiple sites within the Northwest Merseyside region as per agreed frequency.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The PCC and Chief Constable for Merseyside Police is requesting tenders from Suppliers who can adhere to our in-force laundry requirements in the Merseyside region. The PCC and Chief Constable is looking for a supplier that will meet its diverse laundry requirements which over the past few years has seen an increase in demand required due to numerous factors relating to new Forensic labs within force and arrest rates increasing. Suppliers must be available to deliver across multiple sites within the Northwest Merseyside region as per agreed frequency. The purpose of this procurement exercise is for the provision of Laundry Services. The PCC and Chief Constable for Merseyside Police request that the supplier can adhere to our laundry requirements across the Merseyside Police estate and including the laundering of items but not limited to the following environments, Custody suites, Forensic Labs, Corporate Assets and any Ad Hoc requirements to include but not limited to Taser suits and soiled uniform.
