two.1.4) Short description

The procurement is for the Suffolk NHS Health Check Programme. We are seeking a provider who will deliver this programme both through a call / recall service and outreach in Suffolk, the contract will also include the provision of Point of Care Testing equipment. This procurement is for services listed within schedule 3 of The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and as a result are subject to the Light Touch Regime under those regulations. Therefore, the Council is not obliged to comply with the full requirements of the 2015 Regulations, however the principles will be applied. The contract will be for a duration of 3 years commencing 1st April 2023, with an option to extend for up to a further 2 years. The total contract value (including the extension period) is approximately £4,116,810 excluding VAT. The submission deadline is 9th December 2022 at 12noon.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The procurement is for the Suffolk NHS Health Check Programme. We are seeking a provider who will deliver this programme both through a call / recall service and outreach in Suffolk, the contract will also include the provision of Point of Care Testing equipment. This procurement is for services listed within schedule 3 of The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and as a result are subject to the Light Touch Regime under those regulations. Year 1 – During year 1, in addition to delivering the core NHS Health Check programme, the Provider will work with VCSE, commercial, and primary care in the 20% most deprived LSOAs in Suffolk to establish community-based NHS Health Checks and onboard VCSE, commercial, and NHS Providers to the Warm Handover Framework as well as developing the digital NHS Health Checks Offer – Estimated Year 1 value: £716,810 (excluding VAT)Year 2 - The Provider will deliver the core NHS Health Check function and Community-based NHS Health Checks and deliver the NHS Digital Health Check Offer as well as developing the Community-based delivery across 40% most deprived LSOAs – Estimated Year 2 value: £850,000 (excluding VAT)Year 3 - The Provider will deliver core NHS Health Check function, Community-based NHS Health Checks in 40% most deprived MOSAs and the digital NHS Health Check pathway – Estimated Year 3 value: £850,000 (excluding VAT)The submission deadline is 9th December 2022 at 12noon.

Suffolk County Council incorporates a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period from the point at which information on the award of contract is communicated to tenderers.
