NHS England (NHSE) are commencing a tender for the Provision of Virtual Learning Programme (VLP) for Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
NHSE is seeking to commission up to two (2) providers to deliver an innovative and flexible VLP to support returners to meet the minimum requirements of the HCPC RTP standards.
The Programme is aimed at RTP applicants who can demonstrate that they satisfy the following:
• All former HCPC registrants who live in England and plan to return to work in England once returned to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) register.
• Those who have gained a UK HCPC approved programme more than 5 years ago and have never been registered and never practised.
• Registrants who remained on the HCPC register for more than two years but have not practised and consider themselves to be out of practice
A range of targeted interventions/support packages specifically designed to motivate, support, and build the confidence of the returner as they return to practice and proactively encourage them to develop their own lifelong learning. And support this through innovative use of different learning methods and techniques including simulated 'clinical' experience via virtual/remote learning environments or equivalent to optimise the learning experience.

Description

The maximum financial envelope for this procurement exercise is £800,000 (£100,000 ex vat per year per provider) exclusive of Vat. The contract period will be for four (4) years, with no option to extend.
The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is 24th November 2023 at 12:00pm (midday).
Late submissions will not be accepted therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time. All communications should be made via the messaging function on the e-Tendering portal during the tender exercise.
The Contracting Authority requests that all communications are channelled through the e-portal system and not with the Contracting Authority itself other than as expressly permitted within this ITT.
