The West of England Combined Authority wishes to establish a Framework Contract to provide a compliant and efficient way to procure a range of suppliers of cycle hangars for installation in 3 Unitary Authority areas Bath North East Somerset, Bristol City council and South Gloucestershire county council. The Framework Contract will allow the Authorities to call-off the supply, installation, and maintenance of cycles hangers from the appointed suppliers as and when required, while allowing value for money to be better achieved by consolidating the requirements of the Authorities into, where practical, a standardised design and undertaking one procurement process and resulting framework contract.

The West of England Combined Authority wishes to establish a Framework Contract to provide a compliant and efficient way to procure a range of suppliers of cycle hangars for installation in 3 Unitary Authority areas Bath North East Somerset, Bristol City council and South Gloucestershire county council.

The Framework Contract will allow the Authorities to call-off the supply, installation, and maintenance of cycles hangers from the appointed suppliers as and when required, while allowing value for money to be better achieved by consolidating the requirements of the Authorities into, where practical, a standardised design and undertaking one procurement process and resulting framework contract.

An integral part of this Delivery Model is the proposed appointment of a prominent cycle hangar suppliers to a framework that meets the requirements of all Authorities while also trying where possible standardise the product specification and achieve savings through aggregating the requirement and associated spend.

Our intention is to award one Lot, with supplier(s) under the Framework for the supply, installation, and maintenance of cycle hangers

The ultimate goal is to procure a minimum of 80 Hangars from January 24 onwards with framework being designed to allow the further purchase of more hangars in the future for the 3 UA bodies.
