The existing bridge into The Grange school site carries an unadopted road across Warmley Brook. It is thought that the bridge was constructed at the same time as the school sometime in the 1960’s.

The bridge is the primary access route into and out of the site and with the proposed wider redevelopment of the site which is to include a new school and sports facilities together with a new residential development of up to 200 homes the current structure has been deemed unsuitable and is to be replaced.

The Council is seeking a turnkey contractor who is able to design, plan, construct, supply and install a new permanent bridge together with a temporary pedestrian bridge (during the period when the existing bridge is being demolished and the new one installed).
