Warrington Borough Council wish to commission an experienced provider to develop, deliver and evaluate a targeted Service to support the prevention and management of excess weight (overweight and obese) for children and young people aged 5-19 years (up to 25 years with SEND).

The Service will form an integral part of local healthy weight strategies and will focus on weight management or lifestyle Services (Tier 2) for children and young people (CYP) and their families. The Sservice will also look to promote and compliment where appropriate current universal prevention (Tier 1).

The funding available for the delivery of this Sservice is £150,000 per year, subject to the availability and the amount of the Public Health Grant being confirmed each year. The contract will be awarded for four years, with 3 x further 12 month optional extension periods, again subject to the availability of the Public Health Grant.
