two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Authority requires a contract which will deliver urine drug testing and confirmation services to assist the Authority in determining a drivers medical fitness to hold a driving licence.
The successful supplier must be capable of accurately and confidentially carrying out both testing and confirmation services which will provide national coverage throughout Great Britain.
The Contractor/ Supplier will be required to transport samples from Franchise Doctors across Great Britain to the Contractor's/Supplier's nominated laboratory/laboratories for analysis.
Monitoring, collating and feeding back trend analysis data would be advantageous, in particular on drugs below cut offs, which when combined, could result in impairment.
