Section seven. Changes

seven.1) Information to be changed or added

seven.2) Other additional information

In the case of framework agreements, provide justification for any duration exceeding 4 years:

The conclusion of the framework agreement takes place after many of Procure Plus customers have set their planned maintenance programmes for the forthcoming year. The 60 month framework term will afford the appointed suppliers the full opportunity to compete for and, where applicable to the lot, secure underlying contracts under the framework agreement and thus they may be afforded the full term and opportunity to recover their investment in participating in the procurement. For clarity, this notice is to provide the rationale to support the decision to procure the framework on a term of 60 months rather than 48 months. The contract notice and procurement documentation in the original procurement explained clearly that the framework agreement had a term of 60 months but it omitted the rationale for the length of term in an error.
