The London Borough of Merton (“the Council”) is inviting tenders, from those suppliers shortlisted in the initial Supplier Selection stage, to provide Care Quality Commission (CQC) Regulated 6-Unit residential respite services for adults with a learning disability at 138 All Saints Road, London, SW19.
The key objectives of the respite service are:-
a) To provide respite care for people with learning disabilities and enable carers to have a break from caring, reduce isolation and enhance the health, wellbeing and quality of life of carers.
b) To accommodate young people coming through Transitions where possible.
c) To support people to enjoy better opportunities for independence and inclusion. The service must be person centred and show high quality expertise in meeting social, health and wellbeing needs.
The service is provided for up to 6 adults with learning disabilities at any one time, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorders and adults with Physical disabilities. The service accommodates individuals with profound multiple disabilities, individuals with complex health needs and individuals with challenging behaviours. The residential respite care service operates throughout the year, that is 365/6 days and nights.

The London Borough of Merton (“the Council”) is inviting tenders, from those providers shortlisted in the initial Supplier Selection stage, to provide Care Quality Commission (CQC) Regulated 6-Unit residential respite services for adults with a learning disability at 138 All Saints Road, London, SW19.
The Provider is required to deliver services in accordance with the requirements contained within the specification, terms and conditions, successful bidder’s response and other procurement documentation. The Provider must be registered with Care Quality Commission (CQC) as a domiciliary provider able to deliver personal care where necessary
