two.1.4) Short description

The Authority has a requirement is for a 3 (three) year contract to provide driver training services to British Forces Cyprus (BFC) on a call off basis. BFC have a Defence Licensing and Testing Authority (DELTA) set up to Co-ord the training, this is in line with Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) the Ministry of Defence (MOD) have agreed with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency and the Delta Inspectorate. This requirement is to provide full category B, B+E, C, C+E and D1 driver training to personnel within BFC.

Driving instructors shall be fully qualified and meet the standards required. Instructors may be subject to a MOD assessment in the following areas:

Driving ability

Instructional ability, including teaching, manoeuvring and trailer uncoupling

Identification and rectification of student driver errors.

The Authority will provide all vehicles.
