Provider will be paid £33 per patient removed from their waiting list, up to a maximum of £41,544.

seven.2) Information about modifications

seven.2.1) Description of the modifications

Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

Modification to add a Memorandum of Understanding to support the provider to undertake validation, to increase number of clock stops and validation percentages in line with the 2025/26 operational planning guidance. The provider will be paid £33 per patient removed from their waiting list, up to a maximum of £41,544.

There is no change to main contract term which remains 1 April 2022-31 March 2030 (including 3 year extension)

This modification is permissible in line with Section 13 - 2A & 2B (ii) of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.

The modification is made in response to external factors beyond the control of the relevant authority and the provider, in relation to changes in prices in accordance with a formula provided for in the contract documents but does not render the contract materially different in character.

Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire.

Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

This modification enables the addition of a Memorandum of Understanding supporting the QEHKL to undertake validation (technical, administrative or clinical) to deliver an increase in clock stops and validation percentages in line with the 2025/26 operational planning guidance.
