This framework is for the supply of French - speaking countries monographs and standing orders monographs (monographs in series on standing order and a number of multi-volume works) to the British Library. In addition to the material, the Library is seeking associated services such as notification services, approval plans, bibliographic data, EDI and process efficiencies.

This procurement is being undertaken in accordance with the Open Procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

The British Library cannot guarantee to maintain expenditure at any particular level for any particular element of this business.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The general principle for the operation of the framework contract is that orders will go to the highest scoring supplier on the framework offering the best pricing terms for the combination of goods and services that the Library requires. However, if this is not possible, orders or groups of orders can be allocated to other suppliers on the framework at the sole discretion of the British Library.

The business covers French - speaking countries to supply approximately 2500 monographs, with an estimated value of £70000 per annum and approximately 250 standing order series with an estimated value of £18000 per annum.
