two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Council is tendering a four year contract for the Design, Supply and Installation of Rooftop solar on identified sites across West Berkshire. The scope for Year 1 is for the rooftop installation of Solar PV and associated equipment across approximately nine sites owned by the Council, these are anticipated to include 7 schools, 1 care home and 1 leisure centre. The scope for the subsequent years of this contract will be dependent on budget, funding and pricing. It is anticipated that up to approximately ten sites per year will be identified for completion. However, any requirements to proceed in years two, three and four will be agreed with the Council. The Council reserves the right not to award any further work following installation of the initial 9 sites.
