Initially it is BWC's intention to use the DPS to procure its own requirements. Once the DPS is up and running, BWC may procure the Services on behalf of local authorities in the West of England, including but not limited to Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Where our West of England Authorities do choose to use the DPS, they will be contracted to Bristol Waste Company. Bristol Waste Company will conduct the further competition on their behalf and contract directly with the Supplier. For clarity Suppliers will only ever contract with BWC as part of this DPS.
