Scope
Description
The Staffordshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner seeks to commission a Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Child Criminal Exploitation Prevention Service for children and young people. The service will work closely with schools to identify and support children and young people who are identified as vulnerable to CCE / low risk. By providing timely interventions at the point of need being identified, the Service will increase protective factors and reduce risk factors, equipping children with the tools and resources necessary to develop positive behaviours, relationships, effective communications skill, informed decision making and resilience, ultimately reducing vulnerability and their propensity to be adversely affected by CCE or other forms of criminality. A further potential focus could be working closely with primary schools in a targeted way to identify and support children in year 5/6, where attendance and at risk of exclusion is a presenting factor. The service will commence 1st April 2026. Term - 3 years plus 1 x 24 month extension. The Commissioner is planning on holding a market engagement day via MS Teams on Monday 30th June 2025 10am - 12pm. This will be complimented by 1-2-1 sessions with individual suppliers, where requested between 1-4pm. The aim of the market engagement day will be to discuss the proposed scope and answer any questions in relation to the requirement and procurement process, before the formal tender is launched.
