NHS Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are commencing a tender for the provision of the Specialist Mental Health Pharmacist Training Pathway (Cohort 2).

HEE are inviting bidders to submit a tender response to deliver the Mental Health training pathway for mental health pharmacists working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

To support the development of an appropriate training pathway for pharmacists working in community mental healthcare. The training pathway development should utilise existing learning outcomes and curricula such as the new Initial Education and Training standards for pharmacists, RPS/ CMHP Advanced Practice MH Credential, Framework of Core Mental Health Competencies for all pharmacy professionals and the Advanced Practice MH curriculum and capability framework.

The maximum financial envelope for this procurement exercise is £840,000 inclusive of Vat (£280,000 inc. Vat per year). The contract period will be for one (1) year, with the option to extend by up to a further two (2) years (1+1) subject to annual review and available budget.

The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is 28th November 2022 at 12:00pm (midday).
