The provision of quality Defence Soft Facilities Management services to the Defence community is a key enabler of supporting operational capability and supporting the health, well-being, satisfaction and motivation of Service personnel. This notice is to provide information on the procurement of Soft Facilities Management for UK based Armed Forces and associated enabling organisations.
The contracts which currently deliver these services are known as HESTIA. HESTIA is delivered through a core set of standardised Soft FM services to the UK Defence Estate through 7 regional contracts.
Defence Soft FM will build on the successes of HESTIA to deliver quality and consistent replacement Soft FM contracts which demonstrate Value for Money (VFM) and affordability, whilst meeting current and future requirements. The contracts will also seek opportunities to enhance the “Lived Experience” for the Defence community by incorporating/addressing the opportunities for improvement identified throughout the life of the current contracts and in consultation with our customers.
Defence Soft FM contributes to DIO’s commitment to deliver key Defence tasks by ensuring that Defence continues to Mobilise, Modernise and Transform.
A Market Engagement Pack has been produced to provide further project specific information and to seek the views of Industry.
The Market Engagement Pack and registration for the first virtual workshop can be requested by sending an e-mail to DIOComrcl-SFMFP@mod.gov.uk no later than Friday 11 November 2022 at 1200 hrs.
The first virtual workshop is scheduled for Thursday 17 November 2022 at 1330 hrs - 1600 hrs.
