This notice relates to a preliminary market consultation. Network Rail is developing its detailed requirements for Command Control & Signalling (CCS) system works for CP7 and beyond. As part of the ongoing procurement strategy development process, Network Rail wishes to gather the views of companies that may be interested in this type of work to assist in the development of the strategy.

Network Rail is aiming to develop a strategy that will help to broaden CCS marketplace in the UK. Network Rail will welcome feedback from any supplier with experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of ETCS digital railway signalling systems anywhere in the world. All suppliers with ETCS experience, irrespective of whether your company has ever supplied Network Rail, are encouraged to engage with this preliminary market consultation exercise.

Network Rail will hold a Market Engagement Event on the 20th December 2021. The event will be a virtual Teams event, to make it easier for suppliers to attend. After the event Network Rail will issue a Briefing Pack and Questionnaire, to obtain further written responses from the market.
