The Trust will be looking to work collaboratively with the selected provider in order to provide quality healthcare for patients.

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is looking to contract for an 18 Bed Mental Health Acute Ward for male and female patients which is located within 50 miles of the Berkshire border. The Trust will be looking to work collaboratively with the selected provider in order to provide quality healthcare for patients.

This notice is an intention to award a contract under a competitive process.

The approximate lifetime value of the contract is £21,826,904.

The requirement for an 18 bed acute ward is new, although the Trust has block booked smaller number of acute mental health beds previously.

This is being awarded to a provider the Trust has used previously under a different arrangement.

The contract is intended to run 1/1/25 to 31/12/26 with two options to extend by a further 12 months.

Quality criterion - Name: The contract award criteria included basic selection criteria, pass/fail criteria, social value (10%), price (25%), and other quality criteria (65%). Full details were specified in the procurement documents. / Weighting: 100
