With rapidly advancing capability emerging from the field of robotic technology and systems engineering, UKAEA are seeking services to deliver innovation around a Next Generation Digital Mock-Up (NG-DMU). This would result in a platform that is essentially an aggregation of selected black-box software components that can be replaced or extended with minimal development effort, ultimately aiding the adoption of DMU tools by end-users.

The high-level outcomes of this task are:

• design techniques for architecting a DMU system that enabled rapid integration of new innovations,

• a proof-of-principle demonstration of these techniques by integrating software tools into a cohesive DMU,

• a core platform for demonstrating relevant innovations from throughout the LongOps programme, regarding LongOps end-user scenarios.

The authority will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers.

This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the authority before a contract is entered into applicants have 2 working days from the notification of the award decision to request. Additional debriefing and that information have to be provided within a minimum of 3 working days before the expiry of the standstill period.
