NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board ('The Authority') is helping organizations work better together with people and communities. The Authority was formed in July 2022 as statutory successor to the ten Greater Manchester based Clinical Commissioning Groups pursuant to the NHS reforms made under the Health and Care Act 2022. The Authority also took on the functions of the former Greater Manchester Shared Services Commissioning Support Unit because of the reforms.

We want people across all of our boroughs to stay well, whatever their age, and whatever issues or conditions they might be managing. We're bringing together all the different organizations that support people's health and social care, so that services can join up and act faster when people need support.

The Authority's Occupational Health Services ('the Services') are currently administered by a variety of different providers inherited from the predecessor bodies to the Authority. The Authority is seeking to rationalize Occupational Health services into a single contract with a single provider.

The Services provided will be provided to employees working in the following locations: Bolton, Bury, Stockport, Tameside, Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale, Manchester, Oldham, Salford, Trafford and Wigan and Greater Manchester Shared Services (GMSS) which will also form part of the ICB.

The location(s) where the Occupational Health requirement needs to be delivered will be confirmed at the point of referral.

Our localities cover a diverse demographic of circa 2000 individuals, cultural proficiency, inclusivity, and equity of access are key considerations when delivering a "best in class" Occupational Health Service.
