two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The GORSE Academies Trust are seeking Catering service providers to tender for the provision of all catering services presently offered within their academies, which currently includes breakfast, morning break, lunch, hospitality and free issue requirements.

The objectives for the new contract are as follows:

• Sector leading catering services for students, staff and visitors at the Academies.

• A dedicated Contract Manager who will develop and lead the team to deliver exceptional customer service, a consistently high-quality food offer and provide good communication to key members of the Trust team.

• A Contractor who shares The Gorse Academies Trust's central mission to remove the stubborn link between poverty and academic performance.

• A Contractor who will support the site teams to further develop services and is proactive in their relationship management with the Trust.

• A catering service that promotes a fresh food culture and encourages students to take a healthy, balanced meal and provides excellent value for money for students and parents.
