West Yorkshire Combined Authority is looking to appoint a supplier to create and deliver an innovative programme that should engage, inspire, and excite primary aged children (aged 7-11) about future careers within the green economy.

The programme should: -

• Test ways to engage with primary schools to encourage and break down barriers and challenge stereotypes around green careers; focussing on the workforce for the future through upskilling educators and building engaging opportunities to understand and interact with the regional labour market.

• Be inclusive and help young people from all backgrounds to understand the career opportunities of the future, through differentiated activities, that enhance the curriculum, address and evidence behaviour change around green skills.

• Support educators to have knowledge and understanding of green careers.

Contract length - 2 years (March 2024 - March 2026) Indicative Budget - £200K
