Magnox Ltd is a subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) and is responsible for safely managing 12 nuclear sites, a support office and one hydroelectric plant in the UK. A successful Tenderer will be appointed to provide supplementary Project Controls and Commercial Services across the Magnox estate where internal resources are not available. The demand for the Project Controls and Commercial Service is expected to fluctuate dependent on the requirements of the business. An indication of demand is given in document ‘CCS RM2741- Commercial Schedules’ Schedule 3 – Modelled Resource. This is an example of requirements at a given point in time and will vary. Full details will be provided in the Scope documentation; however by way of summary only, it is the intention that the Tenderer’s responsibility encompasses such items as the on-boarding of individuals, maintenance of SQEP, performance management and ensuring quality outputs. The provider will also work in partnership with the function to drive and implement improvement initiatives and provide support and direction to targets and goals set within the Project Controls function. This expert, authoritative Project Controls service will be in accordance with relevant company procedures and relevant Project Controls, Quantity Surveying and Project Management Policies and Professionals Codes of Conduct. In fulfilling the requirements the following roles may be required: • Project Planning • Cost Engineering • Cost Estimating • Risk Engineering • Senior Contract Management • Quantity Surveying (Standard and Senior) • Category/Supply Chain Lead
