Sheffield City Council, Children Young People and Families is looking for a Service Provider to deliver an Appropriate Adult Service to Children and Vulnerable Adults, within the requirements of the National Standards for Youth Justice Services 2019. To reduce offending and re-offending of Children and Vulnerable Adults in Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, and Rotherham through a number of complementary Services, strategies both locally and nationally, and in accordance with National Standards. The Service Provider shall ensure that each above named Local Authority Police Station has 24-hour access to a pool of trained Appropriate Adults with the ability to meet the diverse needs of all Service Users.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Sheffield City Council, Children Young People and Families is looking for a Service Provider to deliver an Appropriate Adult Service to Children and Vulnerable Adults, within the requirements of the National Standards for Youth Justice Services 2019. The Service Provider shall ensure that provision includes sufficient capacity on weekdays, weekends, daytime and overnight for 365 days per year for both children and vulnerable adults and ensure that Appropriate Adults are identified and able to attend within a maximum of one hour of being requested by the Police to attend.
