The school provides education to children aged from 2- 11. It’s a large organisation, with over 634 pupils and around 95 staff. Food is a central influence on health and wellbeing, and it is crucial for children's development. School food must be tasty, nourishing and meet the dietary needs of all children, whilst remaining accessible to all.A site visit has been schedule on Wednesday 3rd May 2023 at 12.45pm. More details are available in the tender documents.It is the intent of the school to offer a good value meal service to pupils and staff. Within the constraints of the meal price the Tenderer shall be required to provide a good quality, nutritionally balanced meal for the children, through an efficient service with a good standard of presentation and a menu that meets the varying dietary needs of the nationalities of the children. Service should be personal and responsive to a Silver Food for Life standard. An unlimited salad bar option would be welcomed. The school benefits from a large, designated dining hall and is keen to refurbish the area to enhance the provision for children and staff with a restaurant experience. The school welcome and consider ideas, designs, and investment from Tenderers to enhance the dining hall experience including but not limited to: Furniture (seating and table styles including booths) Visual, props and accessoriesService displays including presentation of the food and decoration of the service counterThe school would also ask Tenderers to consider investment into some heavy equipment to assist with the increasing meal uptake from September. The school is keen to appoint a catering Company who can drive the services forward in an innovative and exciting manor.In completing the tender documentation, the Tenderer shall prepare and submit its tender giving adequate consideration to the entire tender package.
