The ICB (Integrated Care Board) is the only existing provider that can deliver this service due to the unique requirement of specialised knowledge of the pathways available and how the treatment outcome can be maximised for dual treatment. This specialised knowledge is the most appropriate way to ensure best value for public money as the ICB are responsible for planning NHS services, managing the NHS budget, and arranging for the provision of health services across the BNSSG area.
