University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) is seeking to engage with suppliers interested in its requirement for a Molecular Pathology Managed Service.
The Molecular Pathology Service at University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) NHS Foundation Trust provides a comprehensive diagnostic service to internal users, as well as a large number of external users. The Department processes approximately 25,000 samples a year, the results of which are used for diagnostic and monitoring purposes and in conjunction with other clinical information to direct treatment.

This exercise is intended to provide potential bidders with the opportunity to review the Authority's Briefing Document and to provide information regarding the services they can offer that could meet these outline requirements. Potential suppliers are invited to provide a presentation for the pre-market engagement event to support the procurement of a Molecular Pathology Managed Service Contract on Monday 7 November 2022. This session will be a virtual session hosted via MS Teams.
