NHS Frimley ICB ("the Commissioner") commissions Locally Commissioned Services in Surrey Heath. The 7 GP Practices in Surrey Heath have indicated that their preference for these services would be for Surrey Heath Community Providers Ltd to hold the contract on their behalf.

Surrey Heath Community Providers Ltd was formed in 2016 and is a federation of the 7 Surrey Heath practices.

Locally Commissioned services are only available to providers who hold a patient list.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Contract Award Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.

NHS Frimley ICB ("the Commissioner") commissions Locally Commissioned Services in Surrey Heath. Surrey Heath Community Providers Ltd is the organisation that holds the contract on behalf of the 7 GP Practices in Surrey Heath. Surrey Heath Community Providers Ltd was formed in 2016 and is a federation of the 7 Surrey Heath practices.

Locally Commissioned Services are only available to providers who hold a patient list.

The Locally Commissioned Services in Frimley ICB are:-

• Anticoagulation Monitoring

• Monitoring of Medications prescribed for ADHD

• Antipsychotic Long-Acting Injections

• Medication monitoring

• Insulin initiation

• PSA Monitoring and Follow Up in Primary Care

• Contingency Hotels (Asylum Seekers)

Given the specific requirements of this contract, the Commissioner does not consider there to be any realistic alternatives, therefore direct award process A has been used to award a contract.

This direct award A is for a period of 4 years and 9 months, from 01st July 2024 until 31st March 2029.

The total value for the duration of the contract for the is £8,345,926.

The Commissioner is directly awarding a contract to Surrey Heath Community Providers Ltd in accordance with the criteria outlined in Regulation 6(3) and 7 Direct Award process A of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.

This Contract Award Notice has been published by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner.
