two.1.4) Short description

'School Street Eats,' - previously known as 'School Food Concepts,' and defined as food providers who can offer ready to eat, immediate consumption food in our schools. The School Catering Service at Newcastle City Council require alternative school meal provisions for middle and high schools. We are looking for suitable Provider(s) who meet Food and Hygiene Regulations to appoint through this framework for:

Lot 1 - Street food Concept: We are looking for a Provider of a 'Street Food' concept, defined as ready to eat food for immediate consumption, including innovative menu options around for example: noodles, rice and sauces.

Lot 2 - Wrap Meals: We are looking for a Provider of a 'Wrap Meal' concept, defined as food handheld in flour wraps or a similar product for example burritos, fajitas, including the supply of a range of marinated chicken, beef and vegetarian options and sauces.

Lot 3 - Sandwiches and Pre Packed Salads: We are looking for a Provider of Sandwiches and Pre Packed Salads, with a range of various filings.

Lot 4 - Wrapped Sweet Dessert Options: We are looking for a provider to offer a variety of dessert options, previously supplied as wrapped and labelled baked desserts to NCC's 10 high schools. The solution should meet the school meal requirements and be made and produced to be as healthy as possible. Some examples may include biscuits, flapjacks, and wrapped cakes.

The options must meet allergen, dietary and labelling requirements. This provision includes supply, delivery and display of goods.
