Bristol City Council substance use services are primarily funded through the Public Health grant, and we are grateful to have also secured additional funding from the Supplemental Substance Misuse Treatment and Recovery grant, which enables us to implement a wide array of interventions in alignment with our local drug strategy.

Our vision is to recommission a specialist alcohol and other drug early intervention, treatment and recovery system for children, young people, adults which is person centred, preventative, inclusive, innovative, and aspirational.

Our current services have been in place since 2018 and are expected to be replaced by newly commissioned services in March 2025.
