The London Borough of Redbridge (“the Authority”) is seeking Tenders from suitably experienced and qualified organisations for the Contract for the Provision of Specialist Smoking Cessation Services in the London Borough of Redbridge (“the Contract”).

The Contract shall commence on 1st April 2023 and shall continue up to the 31st March 2026 (“the Contract Period”). At the sole discretion of the Authority dependent on performance the Contract Period may be extended in such period or periods as the Authority deems appropriate up to a maximum twenty-four (24) months, providing a possible total Contract Period to 31st March 2028.

The Contract shall commence on 1st April 2023 and shall continue up to the 31st March 2026 (“the Contract Period”). At the sole discretion of the Authority dependent on performance the Contract Period may be extended in such period or periods as the Authority deems appropriate up to a maximum twenty-four (24) months, providing a possible total Contract Period to 31st March 2028.
The primary aim of the Smoking Cessation Service is to deliver an evidence-based, accessible stop smoking service, particularly for priority groups where there is high smoking prevalence. The new service will deliver the following:
• Proactive outreach with communities that do not traditionally engage with mainstream services to improve visibility, access and acceptability.
• Adapt service provision to meet the needs of our diverse communities and reduce inequalities tailoring the level support for those with more complex health needs and those that need it most.
• Work across services and organisational boundaries improve public health outcomes.
• Support delivery of the council’s Tobacco Control Strategy, including a focus on prevention with children and young people.

The Contract is being procured in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 .
The contracting Authority will incorporate a minimum ten (10) day calendar day standstill
period at the point of information on the award of the contract is communicated to
tenderers. This period allows successful tenderers to seek further de-briefing from the
contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Additional information should be

not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (S1 2015 No 102)
