two.2.4) Description of the procurement
NHSE Workforce Education and Training (WT&E) National Pharmacy Team, are looking for a provider(s) to develop and deliver training to registered pharmacy staff from a range of pharmacy backgrounds across England, to ensure that DS and DPPs are trained, competent and confident.
This tender is split into 2 lots:
Lot 1 - Training for Education Supervisors including Designated Supervisors (DS), supporting supervision of pharmacy professionals across all sectors of pharmacy practice.
Lot 2 - Training for Designated Prescribing Practitioners (DPP), supporting supervision of learners from across all sectors of pharmacy practice.
We are looking for a provider to either take on both or one single lot.
A maximum of two providers will be appointed over the two lots.
The number of places are split equally between the two lots. 500 places overall, 250 training places for Education Supervisors (including Designated Supervisors) and 250 places for Designated Prescribing Practitioners.
The maximum financial envelope for this tender is £250,000 inc VAT. £125,000 inc VAT is available for each lot.
Contract length is 1 year with the option to extend for two 1-year periods dependant on funding and budget.
The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is 6th November 2023 at 12:00pm (midday).
Late submissions will not be accepted therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time. All communications should be made via the messaging function on the e-Tendering portal during the tender exercise.
The Contracting Authority requests that all communications are channelled through the e-portal system and not with the Contracting Authority itself other than as expressly permitted within this ITT.
