Title of contract – Specialist Autism Support Service

Description of contract - The primary aim of SASS is that children and young people with autism are supported to achieve and thrive and to sustain their educational placements. The service should provide information, training, advice and support to educational settings, families and other professionals. It should also provide direct, specialist intervention with individual children/young people and their families.

Length of contract and estimated value of the contract – 4 years with the option to extend by up to 2 years £1,173,126.00

We would like to share our commissioning plan, along with key requirements and timescales associated with the tendering process, during a market engagement event.

This event will also allow us to discuss current and future priorities for supporting children/young people who have often experienced behavioural, emotional or social difficulties, or a combination of these with a successful reintegration into mainstream education.

We will be looking to identify providers with a track record of providing high-quality

and innovative services.

We will be commencing a procurement process later in the year and will provide indicative dates at the event, to be confirmed when the procurement process commences.

The event will take place on Thursday 3rd October 2024, 3.15 – 4.15 pm at the Keynsham Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham, BS31 1FS
