Scottish Government (SG) Digital Directorate is building a multi-tenanted public Cloud Platform Service. The SG will act as an exemplar, to encourage and support public sector bodies towards using cloud services and to realise the benefits of cloud computing, in line with the updated SG Digital Strategy published in March 2021.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Scottish Government (SG) Digital Directorate is building a multi-tenanted public Cloud Platform Service. The SG will act as an exemplar, to encourage and support public sector bodies towards using cloud services and to realise the benefits of cloud computing, in line with the updated SG Digital Strategy published in March 2021.

The SG will seek to establish the Cloud Platform Service, as well as an effective Cloud Community, to support the Scottish public sector to make efficient, effective and secure use of cloud technologies.

This notice has been created of the purposes of seeking information from the marker place regarding our requirements and should not be treated as a prior information notice (PIN)
