Bath & North East Somerset Council is currently engaged in a recommissioning process for our Student & Family Support Service (SAFS).

Title of contract – Student & Family Support Service

Description of contract - The aim of the Student and Family Support service (SAFS) is to support vulnerable children and young people who have often experienced behavioural, emotional or social difficulties, or a combination of these with a successful reintegration into mainstream education.

Length of contract – 4 years with the option to extend by up to 2 years

Estimated value of contract - £1,173,126 over 6 years

We would like to share our commissioning plan, along with key requirements and timescales associated with the tendering process, during a market engagement event.

This event will also allow us to discuss current and future priorities for supporting children/young people who have often experienced behavioural, emotional or social difficulties, or a combination of these with a successful reintegration into mainstream education.

We will be looking to identify providers with a track record of providing high-quality

and innovative services.

We will be commencing a procurement process later in the year and will provide indicative dates at the event, to be confirmed when the procurement process commences.

The event will take place on Thursday 3rd October 2024, 2.00 – 3.00 pm at the Keynsham Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham, BS31 1FS
