Severn Trent Water and Hafren Dyfrdwy are looking to appoint

a framework contract to a partner(s) for the provision of our AMP8 Smart Metering Solution.

Our AMP8 programme will assist in achieving our strategic goals in terms of reducing Per Capita Consumption and Supply Side Leakage. This will be for our Household and Non Household customers.

The service requirements in scope are:

- Meter Hardware and network connectivity services.

- Installation, exchange and maintenance works.

- Data architecture if required to link to our MDMS.

The Utilities are looking to deliver the AMP8 programme of 780,000 meters between May 2025 and April 2030.

We may exercise the option to extend the contract into AMP9.

The selected supplier(s) will provide us with:

- Meter assets including a communication module that connects to an IoT network.

- Responsibility of the IoT network and corresponding data to be delivered to the Utilities servers on a daily basis.

The above two requirements will be contracted as one contract on a lead bidder basis.

Under a separate contract, installation, exchange and maintenance services are required for new and existing meter customers.

There will also be the option to bid for all requirements as a managed service.
