This will be a Single Supplier Framework Agreement operating for a period of 4 years.

The Framework Agreement will be open for use by other public sector organisations as outlined within section VI.3 Additional Information.

Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management Limited are looking to procure a Framework Agreement for the provision of Sustainable Healthcare Waste Conversion Solutions.

This will be a Single Supplier Framework Agreement operating for a period of 4 years.

The award of the Framework Agreement also constitutes the award of the Call Off Contract for Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management Ltd as outlined within the procurement documents.

The Framework Agreement will be open for use by other public sector organisations as outlined within section VI.3 Additional Information.

Site visits to the Contracting Authority premises will be held on 8 and 10 December 2021.

This Framework Agreement for the provision of Sustainable Healthcare Waste Solutions is for use by Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management Ltd, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and by Contracting Authorities in the United Kingdom that exist on 24/11/2021 and which fall into one or more of the following categories:

1. Any of the following:

(a) Ministerial government departments;

(b) Non ministerial government departments;

(c) Executive agencies of government;

(d) Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs), including advisory NDPBs, executive NDPBs, and tribunal NDPBs;

(e) Assembly Sponsored Public Bodies (ASPBs);

(f) Police forces;

(g) Fire and rescue services;

(h) Ambulance services;

(i) Maritime and coastguard agency services;

(j) NHS bodies;

(k) Educational bodies or establishments including state schools (nursery schools, primary schools, middle or high schools, secondary schools, special schools), academies, colleges, Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), further education colleges and universities;

(m) Third sector and charities;

Scotland Health Boards, Special Health Boards and the Authority or other NHS organisations established pursuant to the NHS (Scotland) Act 1978) and any Integrated Joint Boards established pursuant to the new Public Bodies (Joint Working) Scotland Act 2014. All Scottish Hospices.

For the avoidance of doubt, any successor bodies of any of the above entities shall be entitled to place Orders and shall be deemed Participating Authorities for the purposes of this Framework Agreement.
