• Deliver Wirral Independence Service including the Telecare Monitoring and Response service and Falls Prevention Service

• Provision of a Community Equipment Service (CES) for adults and children within the geographical boundary of Wirral Borough Council including those who live out of Borough and are registered with a Wirral GP. The service includes.

• Pressure care,

• Continuing Health Care (CHC),

• Adult Visual Impairment & Hearing Impairment equipment,

• Telecare and any future innovations (equipment, installation, maintenance, monitoring, decontamination and repair and recycling).

• Mobility aids,

• Moving and Handling,

• Bariatric,

• Schools Specialist Equipment,

• Paediatrics,

• Nebulizers

• Toileting

• Specialist non catalogue items

• Minor Adaptations

• Carers Emergency Response Cards

Incorporating:

• an online IT requisition.

• monitoring performance dashboard and reporting system,

• Community based Retail Outlet/ Demonstration facility (Centre for independent living)

• online self-help/assessment system and to include purchase and recycling opportunity

• suitably qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced staff to support those funding their own care and to provide professional assessment and oversight within the service.
