HIE requires this waste to be moved off-site from Arnish and disposed of in a suitably authorised and licenced waste facility by 31st March 2024. The special waste must be properly consigned in accordance with SEPA requirements and disposed of by a registered waste carrier for all movements. Remediation works will also be required to facilitate surrendering of the Waste Management License (WML) currently in place with SEPA.

The budget currently available to deliver this service is between GBP 670,000 and GBP 740,000 (excluding VAT).
