two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Boulevard (road) and Circus (roundabout connected to the Boulevard) were constructed previously on site at Barking Riverside, but the associated footpath and landscaping construction works were not undertaken. The Boulevard and Circus have seen minimal use to date, and are neither adopted or accessible to the public.

The works therefore comprise the completion of all civil works to the Boulevard and Circus, and the undertaking of the extensive hard and soft landscaping works - to form a linear park, play and performance spaces - that form a major part of the overall Boulevard and Circus area.
